Great to see John Mason back running after a long struggle with Planter fascitis. A small group of four set off on this arguably most magnificent running experience in a long while. A calm clear evening lit gently by golden rays of warm sunlight and our idyllic forest run was the ideal backdrop for road running at its very best.
The run tonight was indeed a poignant moment for me in so many ways. Soon we must change to our winter running routes through Banchory town and I will carry fondly the memory of this run, which will strengthen my resolve through the long winter months.
Fabulous turnout. Tonight we had four of our injured regulars back together again – just in time for the winter season. Graham is still battling with planters faciitis, but hopefully he’ll be back soon too. Also two new runners and another two guests. All told, there were 16 of us that took to the forest and the 5, 7 and 8 kilometre routes were all well used. The three dogs that joined us also had a great run.
A small but energetic group of seven enjoyed the 7 amd 8 km routes through Scolty Woodlands on a warm and dry evening. Steven joined us on his new bike and is gradually getting back into running..
A large cheerful group of 15 met this Tuesday, including two new runners.
Spritely turnout with Kerry, Mark, Jack, Shirley, Bill, Gordon, Sandy, Codrina, Lesley, David, Lizzy, Lizzy Mc and Paul. Lots of 5km takers getting ready for Crathes Half at the end of the week.
It’s lovely to welcome back Codrina to the group. She has recently moved into Banchory and will be a regular I’m sure. Another big welcome goes to Peter Seago who has been lying low for absolutely ages, but now looks forward to running on a regular basis again. Also at the run tonight were Lesley, David, Bill, Jack and Morag.
That was one of the nicest runs this year. Perfect weather and a good turnout with Lizzy Mc, Ali, Fiona R, Morag, Oli, Rob, Dave, Lesley, Gordon & Sky, Sandy, Stuart, Bill, Jack, Jan and Lizzy M who came a bit late. It was quite beautiful running on a warm summer evening on Forestry tracks. A big welcome to Stuart Brazewell who joined up as a member and got himself a club shirt.
