Definitely a cooler aspect to the night air, but this did not stop 15 runners coming out. A big welcome to Jennifer and Paula who joined us for the first time. Also-rans were Fred, Nicola, Ali, Helen, Shirley, Paul, Maggie, Rick, Steve, Gordon, Dave, Lesley and young Lesley too.
Eight merry runners, four frisky dogs and one pleasant evening. Steve, Gordon, Mark closely followed by Jack John, David, Ali and Maggie completed various routes from 6km to 9km long.
We’re looking forward to a club night out on Saturday 25th at Tor na Coille restaurant and a Saturday morning club run on 1 November.
Strong winds from ex-hurrican Gonzalo lashed down the Hill of Banchory, but otherwise a cool pleasant run for all. New addition to the group, Rick, joined by Jack, Steve, Dave, Lesley, Gordon, Lizzy Mac, Nicola, Helen, Ali and Paul.
John Mason well recovered from planters fasciitis is a regular again, joined by Jack, Mark, Kerry, Emily, Gordon and Lesley. Pleasant evening run by all.
Twelve merry runners joined together this evening including new arrival Nicola. Conditions were good and the 5, 6 ad 8km routes used. Running our winter routes presents a different approach to our weekly training efforts to what we get accustomed to over the summer months. This can be both refreshing and inspirational.
I take my hat off to those very brave souls who turned up in squall conditions and some even took the 10km option. As they say in the classics – “You can only get wet once.” Bill, Dave, Lesley, Rick and Andy went out tonight and proved just how runners do it in all weather. Well done you lot.
This was the second run back at the Sports Centre and we’re all settling back into running around our beautiful little town. Tonight there were 8 runners and 3 dogs and most did the 8km route with Morag, Jack, Steve, Lesley, David, Gordon, Bill and John Mason.
