Eight merry runners enjoyed the new “Around the Castle Run”. I can see this becoming a firm favourite, as it has variety and is relatively flat. No drinks after as we all needed to get back to family and Christmas preparations. Perhaps there will be more takers next week in the warm-up for Hogmany?

Club Run – Tues 16 Dec 2014
A run with a difference! Tonight we ran from Scott Skinners Bar and finished up enjoying drinks by their cosy fireside. Some folk ran the usual route through town and others used a 7.5km option along the Deeside Way, up to Crathes Castle and back through the woods. The going was easy with a basic head-torch and it was quite refreshing to get out of town. Special thanks to Lesley who pioneered the concept and I’m quite sure we’ll be doing it on a regular basis. In fact on Tuesday 23 it’s the same meeting place and route option.
