Magnificent run with John Mc, Morag, Shirley, Lesley, young Leslie, Helen, Paul, Bill, Kerry, Mark, Sharon, Jack and Sam. The eight kilometer route proved to be as popular as ever.

Run with a difference. Top of Scolty and back for most. Wonderful running weather enjoyed by Sharon, Dave, Gordon, Lesley, Rick, Paula, Jack, Andy Mc, Bill, Mark and Kelly, then off to the AGM.

This is what running is really about – fine weather, fresh forest roads and no traffic. We are indeed blessed to live and run in this beautiful valley. Good turnout with Sam, Paula, Carine, Gordon, Dave, Lesley, Chris, Bill, Jack, Helen, John and young Lesley. Most did 7 or 8km but John and dog took off into the distance leaving us all in his dust, and completed an 11km circuit – go John!

Glorious summer evening drew a good crowd and some faces of old. Welcome back Jan and Andy, who joined Gordon, Mark, Kelly, Emily & Scooby, Paula & Rick, Bill, Dave and Sharon. Grant Thomson called in en route to his own training class and invited any keen runners to join their training routine on a Monday evening at 7pm, meeting outside the Burnett Arms.

Summer running at last! A lovely sunny evening in the forest for Kerry, Emily, Mark, Jack, Sam, Lesley, Dave, Gordon, Bill, Irene, Sharon, young Lesley and Helen. Runners on the 5, 7 and 8km routes.

We were treated to near perfect running conditions on the March Saturday run. After a gentle, mostly flat, introduction staring from the car park just before the entrance to Knockburn Loch we (Bill, Lesley & Chris) entered the trees and the real climb started. Chris powered up, running all the way with me and Lesley puffing behind. It moderated near the top and we stopped to admire the views….and looked down on the wind farm behind Kerloch.

Lesley and Chris went on up to the summit while I skulked round and met them at the other side. So no – officially I haven’t ‘done’ Kerloch! Then it was down the other side….and up….and down etc etc. Finally on the last stretch of track back down to the road, somewhat bizarrely, we noticed a tall post with a security camera on it. What for – we don’t know but Lesley photo-bombed it as we passed anyway.

Our first run of the season back at Scolty Woodland was just great. Paula, Rick, Gordon, Dave, Lesley, Jack, young Leslie, Helen, Bill, Sharon and Sam the vet all enjoyed the exhilaration of the forest routes on this cool but dry evening.
