Great to see John Mason back running after a long struggle with Planter fascitis. A small group of four set off on this arguably most magnificent running experience in a long while. A calm clear evening lit gently by golden rays of warm sunlight and our idyllic forest run was the ideal backdrop for road running at its very best.
The run tonight was indeed a poignant moment for me in so many ways. Soon we must change to our winter running routes through Banchory town and I will carry fondly the memory of this run, which will strengthen my resolve through the long winter months.
