Another mild, dry and pleasant evening for a run. 11 degrees Centigrade even saw a few short sleeve T’s out tonight. Some faces from the past turned up making the group 10 strong; Sandy, Fiona, David Lesley, Paul, David, Rick, Helen, Shirley and Jack. We talked about the GB Relay 2014 world record attempt for the longest continual running relay taking place in June. So far we have commitments from Shirley, Bill, Jack and Rob; we have stage #67 which is 17km long.
There will be no club run from the Sports Centre during the two weeks of Christmas and Homanay. However, we do have the Banchory Fun Run at 11am on Boxing Day and the Lumphanan Detox 10k on 2 January.
Please keep the 25th Jan free for a club social – details of which I will post soon. The last night-out was at Cafe Bombay in Culter and was great fun, good grub and fantastic value. Well done and thanks to Lesley for organising it.
