I was reminded tonight of the old adage that we rarely regret going out on a run, but we might well regret a decision to stay at home instead. All-weather runners Lesley Cheyne, Lesley Young, Paula, Jack, Wendy and Mark Mosgrove enjoyed the 8k winter route in persistent rain.
After the first half mile or so, the heat generated within keeps us warm as toast inside our technical garments, so there is no excuse to stay at home. We certainly enjoyed it and shared ideas and plans for the running year ahead.
