We were treated to near perfect running conditions on the March Saturday run. After a gentle, mostly flat, introduction staring from the car park just before the entrance to Knockburn Loch we (Bill, Lesley & Chris) entered the trees and the real climb started. Chris powered up, running all the way with me and Lesley puffing behind. It moderated near the top and we stopped to admire the views….and looked down on the wind farm behind Kerloch.
Lesley and Chris went on up to the summit while I skulked round and met them at the other side. So no – officially I haven’t ‘done’ Kerloch! Then it was down the other side….and up….and down etc etc. Finally on the last stretch of track back down to the road, somewhat bizarrely, we noticed a tall post with a security camera on it. What for – we don’t know but Lesley photo-bombed it as we passed anyway.
Maybe try something a bit easier next month (watch this space) but thanks Lesley that was a Topper of a run!
