Lesley, Nick and John played host to a fantastic turnout of about 25 runners. JogScotland Hazelhead unit was well represented and a number of people from Banchory town joined us for the first time.
The night itself was warm, dry and surprising light. A thin cloud covering seemed to reflect the sunlight and improved visibility significantly. Scolty Hill was teeming with people active and enjoying themselves. Runners, walkers, revellers alike, were out in the open and clear night air and it never got dark what with sunrise following immediately the long sunset.
Nick enjoyed a wee dram of single malt and the midgies were not all that bad after all.
