Banchory Running Club is for all types of runners. Experienced distance athletes, people new to the sport and everyone in between, are all very welcome. Whatever your preferred level of participation, you will not be on your own, nor will you be holding anybody up. Our aim is to run in loose, informal groups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm, everyone at their own pace. That way we we can motivate one another, learn new tricks and talk about events past, present and pending…

Some days we’ll set off on a circular route. Choose one of our pre-defined distances between  5km and 10km, starting and ending at the at the same place. A big welcome to visitors. Just turn up and join the group.

Once a week we try and do something a bit different with the run. The focus might be on interval training or perhaps hill reps.For details of when and where to meet, please visit the Training page.
